Student Protection and Disclosures 

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements, including 6 months of yoga classes for the 200 hour program and Must have completed a 200 hour program to enter into YogaMatters 300 hour program.  Prospective students must discuss with Lead Instructor, Cathie Ryder, your injuries or limitations.

YogaMatters School requires all students be at least 18 years or older. Approaching students are required to complete and sign enrollment registration forms accompanied with a non-refundable $500.00 application fee. 


Grading System

Students are NOT allowed to miss classes in a program session. There will be no makeup for missed time. Students must attend all scheduled weekends and complete all homework assignments to receive the program certificate.

YogaMatters School shall issue program and course certificates within 30 days of completion to the students who have met all the above requirements, including tuition payment.

Transfer of Credit

Yogamatters School does not offer or accept transfer of credit  from other schools, institutes or training providers.

Previous 200hour training can be applied to YogaMatters 300hour program.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy

A withdrawal and refund policy to include, at a minimum, the following statements:

All refunds shall be paid within 30 days upon written notification from a student of cancellation or withdrawal; and Students receiving benefits from federal programs shall be subject to federal refund policies, rules and regulations.

A student looking to withdraw for a refund from a program must do so in writing to the School Administrator, Cathie Ryder.  

YogaMatters School refund schedule is as follows:

  • Up to 60 days before the first day of the course, full refund*
  • 45 days before the first day of the course, 50% refund*
  • 30 days before the first day of the course, 25% refund*
  • Less than 14 days before the first day of the course, no refund

*Note: All refunds will be less $500 application fee that is non-refundable

Student Grievances

Student complaint process.

If a student should have a grievance about the school, an instructor, or the program, the student shall formally submit such grievance in writing to the School Administrator, Cathie Ryder, [email protected], 603-235-0730. The grievance should include specifics about the claim and if possible include the date and location in which it took place. With the assurance that we will take your complaint seriously and do what is within our capability to correct the situation so you are satisfied.

In the event that a solution cannot be reached between the student and YogaMatters School, the student may file a written complaint with the New Hampshire Department of Education, Office of Career School Licensing at 101 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301, or by phone 603-271-6443.
