Iyengar yoga uses chairs, blocks, blankets, straps, and walls as learning tools. Think of them as scaffolding for strength and understanding.

Morning Practice

A guided, alignment-focused class appropriate for all levels. Beginners receive foundational instruction. Experienced students refine precision and depth.

Afternoon or Evening Session

Restorative yoga, breath awareness, or supported poses that calm the nervous system and encourage integration.

Fireside Sutra Study

Simple, approachable conversations about yoga philosophy. No prior knowledge needed. Just listening, reflecting, and sharing if you wish.

Time for Yourself

Walk the grounds. Journal. Nap. Sip tea. Watch the trees breathe.

Retreat means space.

Four thoughtfully prepared meals daily are included. Fresh, seasonal food that supports your practice and keeps you energized without heaviness.

Do I need experience?
No.

Will I be able to keep up?
Yes. Instruction is layered. You will be guided step by step. In addition to the main instructor, Cathie Ryder, she will be assisted by Lory Pease, and Jenifer Stuckart. Both Certified teachers with years of experience!

What if I have injuries or limitations?
Iyengar yoga is known for intelligent adaptations. Please share concerns ahead of time so we can support your wellness.
